Arul Niles has over 25 years of litigation experience in the Federal Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, District Court and Local Court.
In private practice since 1998, Arul's experience spans transactional work, drafting and advising on commercial agreements including building contracts, IT contracts, shareholders agreements, pre-nuptial and financial agreements and franchise agreements.
Prior to 1998, Arul was employed by the Australian Government Solicitor's Office for 8 years as a Senior Solicitor and acted for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in matters under the Trade Practices Act and large contract disputes arising from contracts with the Department of Defence and other Commonwealth agencies. He has also prosecuted in criminal matters whilst employed as a Solictor by the Director of Public Prosecutions (NSW).

Andrew is a consultant to the Firm in relation to complex corporate commercial matters.

André has over 15 years’ experience in intellectual property (IP) law. Prior to relocating to Australia in 2008, he was a partner at a top tier intellectual property law firm in South Africa. André has worked for leading IP firms in Perth and Sydney.
He has extensive experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications both in Australia and abroad. He further has in depth experience in providing patent validity and infringement advice and has acted in a number of oppositions before the Australian patent office.
Andre is a consultant to the Firm on Patent matters.

Anita has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is a Registered Trade Mark Attorney in Australia.
Anita specialises in Trade Mark matters and has experience in commercial matters. Her current focus on Trade Mark law and Practice includes managing trade mark portfolios of overseas and local clients, conducting searches on the Australian and overseas Registers and providing use and registrability opinions, preparing, filing and prosecution of trade mark applications in Australia and overseas, conducting opposition proceedings, dealing with recordal of assignments and change of name and advising on infringement of trade marks.
Anita also assists in a range of other general legal services including family matters, wills and estate planning, debt recovery and conveyancing.
